Summary: | Oil Companies are always in the search of improving the production capacity of the wells with equipment and strategies that allow achieving the maximum productivity of the field. When the energy of the reservoir is not able to overcome the pressure requirements to produce naturally, an Artificial Lifting System (ALS) will be necessary to produce the draw-down in the reservoir and provide that extra energy that the fluid needs to reach the surface. Currently, in the Platanillo field in Putumayo, some operations have a Venturi pump-type artificial lift system that requires the use of high-pressure crude oil as the motive fluid to generate its extraction from the bottom of the well. The current system generates high energy consumption, erosion problems in the pipes, and a high inventory of crude oil as recirculation. This project seeks to determine and recommend the best artificial lift alternative that is applicable to the conditions... |
