In this sense, international conventions, both bilateral and multilateral, on social security are analyzed as the main response and mechanism at the international level, but also are discussed their main difficulties and limitations. In the same way, other proposals and possibilities to achieve greater coverage for this type of workers are exposed.Este trabajo analiza, por un lado, la vulnerabilidad a la que sé que enfrentan los trabajadores migratorios por el cambio de sistemas de seguridad social al pasar de un Estado a otro, centrándose puntualmente en las prestaciones pensionales de vejez, invalidez y sobrevivencia como parte de la seguridad social y, por el otro, las propuestas y mecanismos existentes para reducir el margen de desprotección de los trabajadores migratorios. En este sentido, se analizan los Convenios Internacionales, tanto bilaterales como multilaterales, de seguridad social como la principal respuesta y mecanismo existente en el plano internacional, pero también sus dificultades y limitaciones.
