Summary: | During the last few years, in Colombia, issues such as Refrigeration have acquired significant importance as a consequence of the increase in use in some parts of the industry. However, the concept of solar heat gain factor (SHFG) is not sufficiently studied in Colombia, as these factors provide very important data to calculate the thermal loads for air conditioning in a room, and thus be able to select in a way adequate and efficient air conditioning equipment. It is for this reason, that it becomes important to start a technological process aimed at finding these solar gain factors according to different latitudes. This project seeks to contribute to the industry, since these solar gain factors are not calculated for the different latitudes of Colombia. Therefore, a mathematical model was developed to obtain them from 0 to 13 degrees north latitude. |
