In addition, the pieces are the result of a process of material development that was carried out using different types of sweets and candies, showing their potential for the production of non-conventional textile pieces. With this project we want to make evident the power of Critical Design to make visible a problem and make it an object of discussion, allowing us to question our way of life and current thinking.Dulce Amargura, es una serie de corsés conceptuales y escultóricos, que tiene como objetivo hacer visible mediante el diseño, una critica reflexiva sobre la manera en la que se agrede al cuerpo actualmente, para corregir o modificar los aspectos que se consideran fuera de los cánones de "belleza ideal" impuestos socialmente, especialmente por parte de las mujeres. Adicionalmente, las piezas son el resultado de un proceso de desarrollo material que se llevo a cabo haciendo uso de diferentes tipos de dulces y caramelos, dejando ver el potencial de los mismos para la producción de piezas textiles no convencionales.
