| Summary: | This project is a cultural facility for the children of the Ricaurte neighborhood in Bogotá. Although this children do not live in the neighborhood, they arrive every day to study in the schools and kindergartens there. However, despite being an important population in the area, the city is not friendly toward them. On the contrary, the aesthetics and urban development of the neighborhood respond mainly to the dynamics of commerce and industry. The proposal seeks to overlap two social fabrics, children and merchants, in order to create recognition of childhood in the neighborhood through the integration of the community and the recovery of the lost natural environment. |
