| Summary: | This project's main purpose is to propose a model to program the orders and optimize the supply chain of the company Black Jack Importaciones SAS analyzing different options for the provisioning of its products. First, an investigation will be carried out on the current importation process of the company and on the demand of its products by its customers. Second, the behavior of demand will be studied and the company's sales will be predicted. Third, a detailed investigation will be made of the costs incurred by the company in the process of transporting the goods by different means. Finally, a detailed analysis will be made of how many orders the company must make each year, what quantities it should order, what transportation method it should use and under what inventory management policy it must work to reduce the logistics costs of the company.
