Materials and Methods: Retrospective study of patients with colonic lateral spreading tumors underwent endoscopic management with mucosectomy. Clinical, endoscopic, and pathological data of the patients were collected, as well as details on the endoscopic techniques used in their evaluation and treatment. An analysis was performed using tests of normality (Shapiro-Wilk or Kolmogorov-Smirnov). Results: Of 8400 colonoscopies performed, 170 LST of the colon were identified, 91 (55%) corresponded to the male gender. The present average age is 64 years IQR (55 -70) years. The most frequent location was the proximal colon 118 (69.4%). Among the histological characteristics, low grade dysplasia 128 (75.3%) was most prevalent. The size group that most occurred was 20 to 29 mm in 90 (53%), 30 to 39 mm in 45 (26.4) % and 40 to 49 mm in 20 (11.8). %. The most prevalent morphological characteristic was granular lesions 141 (83%) Conclusions: LST occur in 2.9% of the studied population, most frequently in the proximal colon. Its morphological characters are given by lesion size of 20 to 40 mm in diameter. The most common grade of dysplasia was low grade.application/pdfAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Acceso abiertohttps://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Pólipos del ColonColonoscopíaNeoplasias ColorrectalesResección Endoscópica de la MucosaColon PolypsColonoscopyColorectal NeoplasmsEndoscopic Mucosal ResectionWO 100Correlación entre los hallazgos endoscopicos y patológios de lesiones de extensión lateral de colon, en población colombianaCorrelation between endoscopic findings and pathologies of lateral extension lesions of the colon, in a colombian populationEspecialización en Cirugía GeneralUniversidad El BosqueFacultad de MedicinaTesis/Trabajo de grado - Monografía - Especializaciónhttps://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1fhttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1finfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesishttps://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aa1.
