Especialista en Operatoria Dental Estética y Materiales DentalesPregradoThe high demand by users of aesthetic treatments – be them restorative or not – configure self-adhesive systems as a very useful emerging material. This has led to various experimental researches and theories which spur on different methodologies for their application on dentin. The present article is a documental review which involved El Bosque University, Pontifical Xaverian University, La Salle University, EBSCO host and SciELO databases, from 2014 to the present, and self-etch adhesives as the mesh term criterion for tittle, abstract, objective and content of the articles.
