La recertificación y la adherencia a nuevos sistemas de gestión están involucradas en la exploración de alternativas innovadoras que permitan el desarrollo corporativo para el mejoramiento continuo de Boehringer Ingelheim S.A. El Sistema de Gestión Responsabilidad Integral (SGRI), proporciona la estructura mediante la cual las actividades enfocadas en salud, seguridad física, industrial y de la información y medio ambiente puedan llevarse a cabo efectivamente (Responsabilidad Integral, 2005). La implementación de un sistema de gestión requiere de una serie de mecanismos y actividades que permitan su adecuada ejecución y por lo tanto el logro de la certificación, los cuales están soportados en herramientas traducidas en medidas cuantificables (indicadores de desempeño y gestión) y cualificables (informes teóricos a partir de inspecciones de seguridad en la empresa). En busca de la implementación del SGRI y en coherencia con las certificaciones de los sistemas de gestión ISO 9000 y 14001, el desarrollo, uso y análisis de herramientas de soporte como el diagnóstico del sistema de gestión RI, permite conocer el estado en que se encuentra el proceso de implementación aplicado hasta el momento, concediendo la línea base para la implementación del sistema y la posterior elaboración y ejecución del cronograma. Estas herramientas son necesarias para medir y comparar el desempeño de la empresa, revelando el comportamiento de la misma y dándole un valor agregado a la imagen corporativa como prestigiosa empresa farmacéutica a nivel internacional. |

The Integral Responsibility Management System (SGRI) provides the structure through which activities focused on health, physical, industrial and information safety and environment can be effectively carried out (Responsabilidad Integral, 2005). The implementation of a management system requires a series of mechanisms and activities that allow its proper execution and therefore the achievement of certification, which are supported by tools translated into quantifiable (performance and management indicators) and qualifiable (theoretical reports from safety inspections in the company) measures. In pursuit of the implementation of the IRMS and in coherence with the ISO 9000 and 14001 management systems certifications, the development, use and analysis of support tools such as the diagnosis of the IR management system, allows to know the status of the implementation process applied so far, providing the baseline for the implementation of the system and the subsequent development and execution of the schedule.
