El crecimiento exponencial de las poblaciones humanas dentro de las grandes ciudades ha generado una necesidad importante de hallar nuevos mecanismos para poder generar alimentos necesarios para toda la población. El siguiente proyecto de grado tiene por objetivo el diseño y construcción de una huerta hidropónica doméstica para el cultivo de espinaca en casa. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo, primero se diseñó el prototipo, posteriormente a esto se construyó, luego su validó su funcionamiento y finalmente se realizaron una serie de comparaciones entre espinacas cultivadas en el prototipo de huerta hidropónica y en matera como lo fueron comparación del valor nutricional y tamaño de las hojas a lo largo del periodo de crecimiento. Como conclusiones de este proyecto se identificó que esta huerta generó un ahorro en el 17% del tiempo, también se identificó una diferencia del 42% en el aporte calórico, siendo mayor en las espinacas cultivadas por hidroponía, demostrando así que este prototipo, construido con materiales de fácil acceso para las personas, mejora la calidad de la espinaca producida mientras disminuye su tiempo de cosecha comparándola con espinaca cosechada en materas. |

The following degree project aims at the design and construction of a domestic hydroponic garden for growing spinach at home. To carry out this objective, the prototype was first designed, then it was built, then its operation validated and finally a series of comparisons was made between spinach grown in the hydroponic garden prototype and in a pot as compared to the value. Nutrition and size of the leaves throughout the growth period.
