Summary:The research was carried out in the year 2023 with the representatives of primary school parents of the Carlos Albán Holguín IED School, seat A, afternoon shift, its purpose was to promote family participation in school was done through the creation of a Chatbot trying to establish as a bridge of communication between families and the Educational guidance area. The research carried out was of a qualitative type, within the humanistic-interpretive paradigm of naturalistic-phenomenological base (Bisquerra, A, 2009), with a methodological approach of Participatory Action Research, since its author is part of the educational community. The main results obtained in this study indicate that parents are willing to participate in school activities and that they are open to the use of new communication alternatives, because they value positively the processes carried out in the school and they recognize that the Chatbot can be very useful to achieve fluid communication and get instant information on topics of interest related to the topics that are addressed in Educational guidance area.
