Summary: | The Colombian Constitution of 1991 generated processes that had direct affects on institutions and norms that covered all actions and policies related to patrimony and culture. The Patrimonial Law (163 of Dec. 39. 1959) and its Decree 264 of 1963 motivated a series of actions and thoughts heahed by the Instituto Colombiano de Cultura Colcultura in 1968 that in the light of the new Constitution took on new impulse and resulted in the creation of the Ministry of Culture in 1997 as a direct consequence of the General Law of culture (397 of the same year). In these processes and in the creation of a Patrimony Directorship within the Ministry of Culture there were numerous thoughts that developed in relation to concepts and operative changes implied within the institutional cultural structure. Some results can be shown relative to the definitions of a series of notions and actions present in the work on cultural patrimony that are new and useful and worth divulging |
