Esta investigación tiene implicaciones tanto académicas como prácticas. Desde lo académico, se busca suplir un vacío de conocimiento hallado en la revisión de la literatura respecto a la escasez de trabajos teóricos y empíricos relacionados con la aplicación de las capacidades dinámicas en grupos u organizaciones de investigación desde un enfoque estratégico y su impacto I+D+i en entornos de ciudad inteligente.
