La homeopatía se han usado ampliamente para el tratamiento del asma bronquial y esta tendencia también va en aumento, explicado por la mayor asequibilidad a la medicina alternativa y terapias complementarias y el abordaje integral que este sistema médico complejo propone al individuo. Con el fin de conocer cuál es el aporte de la homeopatía en el tratamiento de los niños y adolescentes asmáticos, se planteó un estado del arte que describe el enfoque actual a nivel conceptual tanto desde el punto de vista de la medicina convencional como de la medicina homeopática. Asimismo se dan a conocer los diversos estudios y nuevas perspectivas que orientan el manejo homeopático actual del asma hacia una medicina de precisión útil en el tratamiento de niños y adolescentes con este diagnóstico en sus diferentes momentos terapéuticos. Homeopathy has been widely used for the treatment of bronchial asthma and this trend is also increasing, explained by the greater affordability of alternative medicine and complementary therapies and the comprehensive approach that this complex medical system proposes to the individual. In order to know the contribution of homeopathy in the treatment of asthmatic children and adolescents, a state of the art was proposed that describes the current approach at a conceptual level, both from the point of view of conventional medicine and homeopathic medicine.
