We choose nominal thickness for the ferroelectric layer of 20, 50 and 100nm maintaining constant the ferromagnetic layer at 50 nm. The structural study in the bilayers by X-ray diffraction shows us that the Bragg angle of the La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 layer maintains the same position that that for a 50 nm-thick La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 layer, whereas the position of the BaTiO3 peak shifts toward lower angles indicating that the BTO layer grew with more internal stress than that for the individual 50 nm-thick BaTiO3 film gown under identical parameters (oxygen pressure and substrate temperature 400 mTorr for La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 (LCMO) and 3.0 mTorr for BaTiO3 (BTO)). |

Las películas fueron depositadas empleando la técnica deposición de láser pulsado (PLD), en atmosfera de oxígeno a alta presión y a una temperatura de sustrato de 820 °C. Reportamos aquí el efecto del espesor de la capa de ferroeléctrica de BaTiO3 sobre las propiedades estructurales de la capa ferromagnética de La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 en la bicapa. Hemos tomando espesores nominales de 20, 50 y 100 nm para la capa ferroeléctrica manteniendo constante el espesor nominal de la capa ferromagnética en 50 nm.
