Description
Summary:In this paper we present the results obtained during standarization of the separation systems for the assement of oleic acid and ethanolamine, pharmaceuticals used for the manufacturing of triethanolamine oleate injection BP. For the HPLC assay of oleic acid we used a Free Fatty Acids Waters® column and acetonitrile – water (46 : 54) as mobile phase; the detection was performed at 201nm. Finally, a SE-30 glass column and a flame ionization detector (FID) was used for the gas chromatographic assay of ethanolamine.
