As stationary bounded phase we used octadecylsilane and a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile-water-triethylamine (4,0: 95,9 : 0,1). The detection was performed at 230 nm.Presentamos en este artículo los resultados del desarrollo de dos métodos analíticos para la determinación de fosfato de codeína en tabletas al igual que los obtenidos en el proceso de validación de los mismos. El primer método destinado a la prueba de uniformidad de contenido se fundamenta en la absorción a 287 nm de soluciones de fosfato de codeína en ácido clorhídrico 0.1 N, mientras que el segundo método consiste en una separación por cromatografía líquida de alta eficiencia empleando como fase móvil de acetonitrilo-agua-trietilamina en proporción 4.0 : 95.9 : 0.1, una columna de octadecilsilano y detección a 230 nm.
