Entre estos tumores se encuentran el Mastocitoma canino, así como el sarcoma de tejidos blandos. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo proponer protocolos de evaluación para aportar a la estandarización macroscópica y microscópica de evaluación de tumores en caninos, realizando una revisión de literatura sobre las diferentes técnicas de corte macroscópico de tejidos de masas cutáneas y subcutáneas, así como de mastocitoma canino cutáneo y subcutáneo, y de sarcoma de tejidos blandos; entre los diferentes aspectos evaluados, se encuentran características morfológicas las cuales se evalúan por tinción de rutina de hematoxilina-eosina, y algunas características son evaluadas por medio de tinciones inmunohistoquímicas con fines tanto diagnósticos (principalmente para sarcomas de tejidos blandos), como pronósticos. Posteriormente se realiza una propuesta de protocolos basados en la revisión de literatura, para cortes macroscópicos de masas cutáneas y subcutáneas, evaluación diagnostica y pronostica de Mastocitoma cutáneo, y evaluación diagnóstica de sarcomas de tejidos blandos en caninos.
