These diseases are neurodegenerative in nature, in advanced stages of the diseases people lose the ability to communicate and later to breathe without mechanical assistance. Communication is an intrinsic part of the human being and it is vitally important to provide tools that help these people to inform their needs or emotions to their environment. This is how Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems propose this type of solution. However, generally these systems are designed for a specific person and if they are transferred to others they are not usable and abandoned by users after a period of use due to the low usability of the systems. Therefore, a model that generates the variables of the system, the functional and non-functional requirements, adapts a programming paradigm that makes it possible to generate changes in the system quickly and evaluates the system in a heuristic way, iterating with the model n times until the AAC system get adequate usability, it is highly required.
