| Summary: | This document deeps in the concept of sustainable development. In spite of the important increase of sustainable development, sustainability and urban sustainability. Its theory and methodology advances are still in development process. The achievement of this document is to contribute on the construction of a conceptual frame by understanding that the undeveloped countries must solve simultaneously problems on ecological preservation and urban poverty, task that becomes titanic because of the lack of resources. The study on how it is possible to be sustainable in undeveloped countries without resources and environmental problems is becoming a necessity. New paradigms for planning processes and for city management are necessary to allow urban sustainability with few resources. |
