Summary:Research on the usefulness of social networks in marketing health services was conducted. These communities now have over one billion users worldwide and blogs, which are part of these tools, are a direct, free and dynamic marketing that appeals to consumer’s alternative. The research was aimed to determine if a blog can improve the website visibility of a company that provides health services in dentistry, to achievethis goal, a plan of virtual marketing was established, for which a blog was designed, was applied processes to improve search positioning, making 10 entries , taking care that were carried out according to key words and specific purposes, 5 Chronologicalsearches on a weekly basis to observe the behaviour of the web blog of investigation were performed. Blog design variables, positioning and demographics of visitors to the site were measured, and these results were tabulated and organized data using histograms, graphs were drawn and this information was obtained outcomes that determine if a blog an alternative that can increase the visibility of a web company that market goods or services in virtual communities, by positioning this post in the first page of the web search engine, making it a free and simple yet reliable and interactive alternative for employers and for users who consult and make decisions to purchase goods or services through this medium.
