Avec les recours à lamémoire, l’absence et la voix, ellescherchent à angoisser le spectateurvia la création de sursauts dans laprofusion de textes et d’imagesbanales et obsolescentes offertespar les médias (y inclus le déjàrenommé signifiant «post-conflit»)en tant que distracteurs face auxhorreurs de la guerre.Parece que la estética no tiene lugaren un contexto conflictivo como elcolombiano, pero los artistas localesinsisten en entre-mostrar consus obras esos reales a los cualesintentamos dar la espalda para resguardarnos.En este orden de ideas,este artículo pretende resaltar elcarácter ético de un conjunto deobras colombianas de videoarteque son llamadas a “declarar” sobrelas condiciones socioculturalesbajo las cuales vieron la luz.
