Starting from a semiological analysis of more than a hundred discourses, this study attempts to uncover the constituent elements of the dynamics currently at work in love and, thus, to contribute to the establishment of a social diagnosis of the present phase of the history of Colombia. In fact, the discourse on love transmitted by the media, in its own way, reinforces the present culture of intolerance, indifference and violence. Finally, this paper proposes some alternatives that could be useful for delocalizing love and its discourse in the field of the utopias.Este artículo presenta algunas conclusiones de una investigación sobre el discurso del amor en los medios de comunicación masiva colombianos (Radio, prensa, televisión y publicidad); investigación que pretendía, a partir de un análisis semiológico de más de cien discursos, despejar elementos constitutivos de la dinámica actual del amor y así contribuir a la elaboración de un diagnóstico social de un momento particular que vive Colombia. De hecho, el discurso amoroso presentado a través de los medios hoy día refuerza a su manera la actual cultura de la  intolerancia, del desamor y de la violencia...
