Initially, the technologies with the greatest application potential in food safety are identified, taking into account factors such as cost, usability and availability. Likewise, the most representative vertical farming techniques are described. Then, a survey of the requirements and characteristics for the construction of the methodology is carried out, which is divided into three large sections: systemic analysis of Open source technologies, mechanisms of technological appropriation and learning environments. In the following section, a laboratory divided into three activities is established as a pedagogical strategy: an intelligent tutor system developed on the Moodle platform, a talk with an expert in the area of agriculture and finally a didactic practice through ICT. Finally, a pilot test is carried out with a group of twenty-one participants from an educational institution in the city. Some of the conclusions obtained in the validation indicate that ICTs are an excellent tool to combat problems associated with food insecurity, that on some occasions that problem is due more to factors such as misinformation than to low economic resources.MaestríaMagíster en Ingeniería - Ingeniería de SistemasAgricultura urbana e lotÁrea Curricular de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informáticaxviii, 120 páginasapplication/pdfspaUniversidad Nacional de ColombiaMedellín - Minas - Maestría en Ingeniería - Ingeniería de SistemasFacultad de MinasMedellín, ColombiaUniversidad Nacional de Colombia - Sede Medellín000 - Ciencias de la computación, información y obras generales360 - Problemas y servicios sociales; asociaciones630 - Agricultura y tecnologías relacionadasSeguridad alimenticiaFood securitySeguridad alimentariaTICAgricultura urbanaLotVisión artificialEstrategias pedagógicasFood securityICTUrban agriculturePedagogical strategiesArtificial visiónMetodología para la apropiación de tecnologías orientadas al mejoramiento de la seguridad alimentaria en zonas urbanas y periurbanas de población vulnerable en el Valle de AburráMethodology for the appropriation of technologies aimed at improving food security in urban and peri-urban areas of vulnerable population in the Valle de AburráTrabajo de grado - Maestríainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionModelTexthttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/TMValle de Aburrá, Antioquia, ColombiaRedColLaReferenciaUnidad para la atención y reparación integral a las víctimas.
