A fin de comprobar si los objetivos estratégicos de desarrollo declarados en el Plan Nacionaldel Buen Vivir se han podido cumplir o llevar a término en mayor o menor medida, y cómo estos llegan a explicar los propios itinerarios discursivos del Sumak Kawsay.In this paper we will try to sketch out a critical analysis of the various discursive elements that make up the concept of Buen Vivir or Sumak Kawsay that much relevance has acquired in the social and political project developed in recent years by the government of the Republic of Ecuador, to the point of being embodied and enshrined in the current Constitution of 2008, linking it with the measurement and evaluation of their actual achievements of government action and public policy through a Buen Vivir Index.
