Borde, relaciones en el espacio intermedio:Planteamiento de edificio de vivienda universitaria en el borde de la carrera 30, campus Universidad Nacional, Bogotá

The materialization of the edge allows us to perceive and understand the dialectic of the permanence and the exchange of activities of a place. Considering the condition of disarticulation, fragmentation, and isolation in the modern edge of the Nacional University at 30th avenue, and from an approach to the notion of edge, an intermediate space condition is proposed, a place of plastic-spatial experience, tangible and intangible, a between where interior and exterior converge, dialogue, intertwine and interact. Porosity determines the degree of permeability in the activities’ relationship, both public and private, that make up an architectural container of those mentioned above.Exploration leads to the search for a system that approves concatenation, mediation, and interaction. These factors raise the convergence of three relationships: matter - empty, public-private, skin - structure, as a consequence of this interdependence between relationships, the extraction of parts with which the system conjugates, from a condition of intermediate space, a proposal for an edge building.
