(Texto tomado de la fuente)The Adverse childhood experiences (ACE) cover a representative number of experiences where violence and child abuse are the common factor, unfortunately these present every day a greater prevalence worldwide turning it into a public health problem; these experiences affect multiple dimensions of the human being where commitment has been identified in the regulation of emotions and behavior, as well as executive dysfunction among others, aspects that represent a greater risk for the development of emotional disorders such as depression and anxiety, as well as assuming risk behaviors factors that according to the evidence have a high relationship with the development of chronic non-communicable early. Objective: to conduct a review of the state of the art on the effect in terms of the potential of physical exercise, on the executive functioning of children between the ages of six and eleven surviving to ACE. Methodology: PubMed, Medline, Sciencedirect, Ebscohost, Jstor and the search engine Google scholar were consulted in the period between January 2010 and November 2021. The selection criteria were based on the report of the use of physical exercise in the promotion of executive function and in the mitigation of implications of ACE. Results: The final report was made with a total of 125 articles that met the inclusion criteria, as well as other technical documents and books that contribute and sustain the potential of physical exercise in the promotion of executive functioning in children survivors to ACE. Conclusions: Physical exercise represents a multi-potential strategy in the promotion of executive functioning in the children who survive ACE, promoting micro- and macro-systemic modifications that contribute to the mitigation of the impact at the psycho-emotional level and the executive functioning of the surviving children. Product of the review identifies parameters of prescription of physical exercise as well as qualitative characteristics of it, to be taken into account when seeking to enhance executive functioning, these aspects accompanied by interdisciplinary interactions represent a window of opportunity for this specific population group.
