(Texto tomado de la fuente).Migration and fertility generate alterations in the demographic dynamics of the countries of origin and destination, hence the importance of their study. This degree work analyzes the relation between international migration to the United States and fertility in Mexican couples. The information comes from the Mexican Migration Project (MMP), which provides the history of events of household heads. With the project data, the history of events of Mexican couples is reconstructed because migration and fertility are family decisions. This analysis aims to estimate, using generalized estimation equations, the probability that the couple has a child, given that one or both spouses migrated, and the probability that at least one of the spouses migrates, given that they have children. In this way, we enter longitudinal analyzes on demographic data that have been studied mainly with cross-sectional data. Specifically, it focuses on temporality from 1964 to 2013MaestríaMagíster en Ciencias - Estadísticavii, 54 páginasapplication/pdfspaUniversidad Nacional de ColombiaBogotá - Ciencias - Maestría en Ciencias - EstadísticaFacultad de CienciasBogotá, ColombiaUniversidad Nacional de Colombia - Sede Bogotá310 - Colecciones de estadística general::318 - Estadísticas generales de América del Sur510 - Matemáticas::518 - Análisis numéricoModelos lineales generalizadosModelos longitudinalesDemografíaMigraciónGeneralized linear modelsLongitudinal modelsDemographyMigrationEstadísticas demográficasTasa de natalidadDemographic statisticsBirth rateestudio longitudinallongitudinal studyModelación longitudinal de la migración de parejas mexicanas a Estados Unidos y su fecundidadLongitudinal modeling of the migration of mexican couples to the United States and their fertilityTrabajo de grado - Maestríainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionTexthttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/TMMéxicoEstados Unidoshttp://vocab.getty.edu/page/tgn/7005560http://vocab.getty.edu/page/tgn/7012149Andersson, Gunnar Persson, L. .
