This paper presents the main reflections and conclusions of the forums organized by a group of regions and Bogota, congresswomen, national institutions, female collective groups and international funds for development which took place in August, 2004. The first forum was dedicated to memory and history; the second to the participation and construction of democracy; and the last one proposed a consolidation agenda of female citizenship viable for the country.Este artículo realiza una reconstrucción de la memoria y hace un balance de los pasos adelantados por las colombianas en las últimas décadas a propósito de la conmemoración de los 50 años del voto femenino. El texto presenta las principales reflexiones y conclusiones de los foros organizados por grupos de las regiones y de Bogotá, mujeres parlamentarias, instituciones nacionales, colectivos feministas y fondos internacionales para el desarrollo, que se realizaron en agosto de 2004.
