The first forum was dedicated to memory and history; the second to the participation and construction of democracy; and the last one proposed a consolidation agenda of female citizenship viable for the country.Este artículo realiza una reconstrucción de la memoria y hace un balance de los pasos adelantados por las colombianas en las últimas décadas a propósito de la conmemoración de los 50 años del voto femenino. El texto presenta las principales reflexiones y conclusiones de los foros organizados por grupos de las regiones y de Bogotá, mujeres parlamentarias, instituciones nacionales, colectivos feministas y fondos internacionales para el desarrollo, que se realizaron en agosto de 2004.
