It was found that the addition of the Polyethylene glycol 200 to hydroalcoholic mix does not affect of meaningful way the solubility of the Acetaminophen, if the binary relations are appropiate, depending the quantity of polyol added; while upon adding Propylene glycol USP, the solubilities obtained for the hidroalcoholic mixtures are seen reduced.Se determinó la solubilidad del Acetaminofén USP a 20.0 ± 0.5ºC en mezclas solventes representativas de los sistemas Agua Purificada – Alcohol USP – Propilenoglicol USP y Agua Purificada – Alcohol USP – Polietilenoglicol 200 NF, estableciendo las líneas de isosolubilidad en coordenadas triangulares, que definen las regiones de composición de las mezclas solventes en estudio más útiles para el diseño de formas líquidas homogéneas de este fármaco en cada uno de los sistemas estudiados.
