Aesthetic emotion isaddressed here in its function ofindicating the reality of drives andpointing to that which cannot bethought, that is, the unconscious.The article explores how aestheticfeeling can pave the way to subvertdrives and open it up to anotherfacet of existence, suggesting thataesthetic emotion serves an essentialfunction in dealing with horrorand clinging to the human, as wellas to the promise of a possible life.In this sense, the path involves anethical commitment.

Ceci concernele sujet même et son désir d’allervers l’inconnu via l’esthétique entant que qualité de son sentiment.L’émoi esthétique est abordé par lebiais de sa fonction d’indiquer leréel de la pulsion et de viser à cequi ne peut pas être pensé, c’est àdire l’inconscient. L’article proposed’explorer comment le sentimentesthétique peut déblayer un cheminde subversion de la pulsion jusqu’àl’ouvrir vers un autre bord possiblede l’existence. C’est là que nousplaçons une fonction essentielle del’émoi esthétique en tant que pointd’appui pour traverser l’horreur,s’accrocher de l’humain et de lapromesse d’une vie possible. De cepoint de vue le parcours impliqueaussi un pari étique.Las obras de arte tienen el poder deconvocar la paradoja misma de untiempo y un espacio anteriores a laexistencia. Ello concierne al sujetomismo y a su deseo de ir hacia lodesconocido a través de la estéticaen cuanto cualidad de su sentir. Laemoción estética es abordada ensu función de indicar lo real de lapulsión y apuntar a lo que no puedeser pensado, a lo inconsciente. Esteartículo se propone explorar cómoel sentimiento estético puede despejarun camino de subversión dela pulsión y abrirlo hacia otro bordeposible de la existencia. Allí situamosuna función esencial de la emociónestética como punto de apoyo paraatravesar el horror, aferrarse a lohumano y a la promesa de una vidaposible.
