(Texto tomado de la fuente)A characterization study of a sample from the Colombian Orinoquía was carried out as part of the macroproject carried out by the population genetics and identification group of the National University of Colombia. Three types of markers were used for this task including STRs, INDELs and Y chromosome, the results are consistent with previous descriptions where the population of the Orinoquía is genetically similar to the populations of the Andean region, this notion contrasts with the established population model by Tarazona-Santos, where populations from the south east of the South American continent and the Andean region differ by patterns of diversity. The exposed results could extend the Tarazona-Santos model from the regions of the Eastern Cordillera to the Orinoquía region adjusted to biogeographical patterns. Additionally, considering the genetic proximity of these populations, the divergences in other aspects such as biogeographical and biocultural are striking, for which a line of analysis based on aspects of cultures is proposed for a holistic understanding of populations.MaestríaMagíster en Genética HumanaGenética de poblaciones y genética humana110 páginasapplication/pdfspaUniversidad Nacional de ColombiaBogotá - Medicina - Maestría en Genética HumanaFacultad de MedicinaBogotá, ColombiaUniversidad Nacional de Colombia - Sede Bogotá570 - Biología::576 - Genética y evoluciónMarcadores GenéticosCromosomasGenetic MarkersChromosomesOrinoquíagenética de poblacionesCromosoma YCulturaINDELsSTRsPopulation geneticsY ChromosomeCultureEstructura genética en una muestra de la población humana en la Orinoquía colombianaGenetic structure in a sample of the human population in the Colombian OrinoquíaTrabajo de grado - Maestríainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionTexthttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/TMRedColLaReferenciaAlonso, L.
