Summary: | This essay analyzes the conformation scheme of urban planning in Bogotá. The scheme is formed by two parallel elements circumscribed to apparently limited fields, that don’t complement each other or, neither, maintain productive relations between them. This duality has defined the difficulties to build a more efficient urban planning scheme. The evolution of this planning scheme during the urban crisis period in the 80’s and 90’s and its actual circumstances defined by its regulation in 1991 National Constitution and the Territory Ordering as a common practice, preserves the “dual” scheme. |
