La filosofía del software libre, es tener una comunidad donde los usuarios compartan, se ayuden mutuamente y los beneficios que trae cada uno de los programas que se desarrollan, sean para toda la comunidad en partes iguales, es por esto que la cooperación es clave para promover más y mejor software libre. No obstante, no aún claro cómo los tiempos de retardo de los resultados de la cooperación afecta el desarrollo de software libre ni cómo el mecanismo de cooperación basado en confianza puede ser gestionado para promover una cooperación efectiva. Se aplicaron los lineamientos metodológicos de la Dinámica de Sistemas para entender cómo la cooperación basada en confianza puede afectar el desempeño de un equipo en el desarrollo de un proyecto de software. Los modelos y simulaciones obtenidos explican cómo la complejidad puede dominarse para gestionar la cooperación de forma efectiva en el desarrollo de software libre. Finalmente se concluyó que altos tiempos de retardo en la percepción de los efectos de la cooperación las condiciones iniciales de la confianza en el desarrollo de software libre deterioran la efectividad de la cooperación basada en confianza. |

However, still not clear how the delay times of the results of cooperation affects the development of free software and how the mechanism of cooperation based on trust can be managed to promote effective cooperation. Methodological guidelines were applied System Dynamics to understand how cooperation based on trust can affect the performance of a team in the development of a software project. The models and simulations obtained explain how complexity can be mastered cooperation to manage effectively in the development of free software.
