Con esa sobredosis de confianza y otros factores que jugaron a su favor, Muñoz Ardila resultó reelegido para la próxima vigencia en las Elecciones UNAB llevadas a cabo el pasado jueves 25 de octubre, ya que de los 2.432 votos de estudiantes, su lista en la que ahora estará acompañado por Daniela Fernanda Cáceres Claro (Programa de Medicina) obtuvo 1.325 sufragios (54,4 por ciento), mientras que la dupla conformada por Diego Arnaldo Lizcano Puentes (Derecho) y Luis Felipe Casas Castañeda (Psicología) consiguió 831 votos (34,1 %) y el voto en blanco 276 (11,3 % de los votos válidos).
