description En el presente documento se quiere dar a conocer el desarrollo e implementación de una herramienta móvil llamada MapRoute en el área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, debido al desconocimiento que presentan los conductores acerca de las condiciones del tráfico que cambian constantemente en las vías de la ciudad. Usualmente, esto tiene como consecuencia que los conductores no lleguen a tiempo a sus lugares de destino y tomen aquellas vías congestionadas o con diversos eventos que afecten el tránsito en la misma, por esta razón, se propone reducir estos problemas mediante el desarrollo de un prototipo de aplicación móvil de reportes de eventos, que permitirá notificar a los usuarios sobre las vías congestionadas o diferentes tipos de inconvenientes que presenta la ruta que está usando y de esta manera evitarlos.

Usualmente, esto tiene como consecuencia que los conductores no lleguen a tiempo a sus lugares de destino y tomen aquellas vías congestionadas o con diversos eventos que afecten el tránsito en la misma, por esta razón, se propone reducir estos problemas mediante el desarrollo de un prototipo de aplicación móvil de reportes de eventos, que permitirá notificar a los usuarios sobre las vías congestionadas o diferentes tipos de inconvenientes que presenta la ruta que está usando y de esta manera evitarlos.In this document we want to announce the implementation of a mobile tool called Map Route in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga, due to drivers' lack of knowledge about the constantly changing traffic conditions on the city's roads.
