description	En este trabajo se pregunta por el sentido que puede tener el modo de problematizar la desigualdad social y económica en el actual discurso constitucional colombiano. Hoy en día la forma dominante de pensar la desigualdad está regida por el pensamiento liberal de la justicia, que tiene en la obra de John Rawls una de sus expresiones más influyentes. En este artículo se mostrará, a través de un estudio hermenéutico, que la justicia distributiva rawlsiana no es un contexto plenamente pertinente para darle sentido a conceptos claves del texto constitucional así como a mecanis-mos institucionales y jurídicos concebidos para enfrentar la dramática desigualdad social y económica que vive la sociedad colombiana. Por el contrario, se sugerirá que este pensamiento liberal de la justicia desproblematiza nuestra situación de desigualdad

Today the dominant way of thinking about inequality is governed by the liberal thought of justice, which has one of its most influential expressions in the work of John Rawls. This article will show, through a hermeneutical study, that Rawlsian distributive justice is not a fully pertinent context to make sense of key concepts of the constitutional text as well as institutional and legal mechanisms conceived to confront the dramatic social inequality and inequality. economic experience of Colombian society.
