En esa colección, en el ejemplar que tengo a mano, en las páginas 7 y 8, el acta del jurado anotaba: “Reunidos en la ciudad de Cúcuta, a 8 de agosto de 1977, Pedro Gómez Valderrama, María Mercedes Carranza y Giovanni Quessep, jurados del III Concurso Nacional de Poesía “Eduardo Cote Lamus”, luego de haber leído los 142 libros de poesía presentados, acordamos por unanimidad los premios de la siguiente manera: Primer Premio: al libro “Tratado de Retórica – o de la necesidad de la poesía, de Darío Jaramillo Agudelo. Segundo Premio: al libro “El Bebedor Nocturno” de Raúl Henao”.Darío Jaramillo Agudelo, here today by our side, I have met him several times, without him knowing about it. Ah, the magic of literature.
