The rapid development of computing and telecommunications systems over recent years has driven the development of applications with high interaction with the external world, which function in heterogeneous environments and with autonomy in carrying out their actions. This type of applications is of a much higher order of complexity than traditional applications. The agent-oriented software development paradigm emerges as an alternative for the construction of products that meet these types of demands, combining existing technologies such as artificial intelligence and distributed systems. The “American Heritage Dictionary” defines an agent as “something that acts or has the power or authority to act... or represent another” [Bra97]. In common sense, when you think of a software agent, you think of software that acts as a support for someone carrying out a specific task which has been delegated to them. But it is also expected that the software will be able to infer details from the requests to avoid the tedious task of explaining in detail everything that must be done. The only way for the agent to do this well is to know something about the context of the request. That is, as Negroponte [Neg97] says, having a model of the user and their environment.Modalidad Presencialapplication/pdfspahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.5/co/Abierto (Texto Completo)Atribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 2.5 Colombiahttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Formalización de sistemas multiagentesFormalization of multi-agent systemsResearch reportinfo:eu-repo/semantics/workingPaperInforme de investigaciónhttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_18wshttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_8042info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionhttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/IFIUniversidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga UNABFacultad IngenieríaTelecommunicationsAgentMultiagent systemsIntelligent agents (Computer software)Artificial intelligence (Computer programs)Software developmentSoftwareSoftware architectureSistemas multiagenteAgentes inteligentes (Software para computadores)Inteligencia artificial (Programas para computador)Desarrollo de softwareArquitectura de softwareTelecomunicacionesAgente[Bac99] Back S., Liebowitz J., Prasad S.Y., Granger M.
