Recordamos cómo hace veinte años, cuando se proponía una reforma política para nuestro país, en el marco de un año electoral y ante la necesidad académica de abrir un espacio para la refexión crítica, la investigación y la formación en la disciplina de la ciencia política, se funda el 8 de julio de 1998 bajo la dirección de la Doctora Lya Fernández de Mantilla, el Instituto de Estudios Políticos IEP- UNAB, del cual la Revista Refexión Política sería su órgano de difusión y promoción. En sus veinte años de publicación, la revista se ha caracterizado por su independencia, imparcialidad, seriedad y responsabilidad, línea editorial que hasta el presente ha mantenido. Durante 38 números la revista mantuvo ediciones impresas semestrales y a partir de la edición No. 39 (junio de 2018) se empezó a presentar solo en medio digital. Ante la creciente recepción de artículos que cumplen las exigencias para su publicación, el comité editorial ha decidido pasar a publicación cuatrimestral que saldrán a la luz en los meses de abril, agosto y diciembre. Presentamos la edición No. 40, con la publicación de artículos derivados de investigación y/o de refexión en aspectos centrales del debate académico de la ciencia política: relaciones internacionales, derechos humanos y conficto, democracia, comunicación política, ideología, religión y poder. |
