En medio del deshabitado páramo, Grethel logrará engañar a Carlos para que la ayude a deshacerse de Iván. Después de quedar solos ella cumple su plan y mata al terrateniente. Grethel regresa a su tierra, la hacienda donde atraparon a Carlos, pero los enemigos que se ha ganado por sus actos acabarán con su vida.
