Representa un problema de salud que afecta a un gran número de personas en todo el mundo, su prevalencia difiere según el tipo de alopecia, puede ser una manifestación clínica de enfermedad sistémica y tiene un impacto negativo significativo tanto físico como emocional que afecta la calidad de vida de quien lo padece. |
