Hace unos días leí su novela y quedé impactado: el melómano verdadero estaba ahí, con toda la carga que se requiere para serlo, detrás de unos discos, detrás de las historias de los músicos y de las versiones de las piezas musicales. No pude resistir escribirle a su correo, comentando algunos asuntos de su novela, agradeciéndosela y sugiriéndole la posibilidad de entrevistarlo. Me respondió de inmediato, comentándome que La nostalgia del melómano “…es una novela escrita con amor a la música y con una influencia muy profunda de un escritor hindú llamado Vikram Seth”.
