La Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga ha venido trabajando hace algunos años a través de la Oficina de Sistemas de Información con iniciativas Web que están integradas a los sistemas de Información existentes en la organización. La principal idea que surgió para llevar a cabo este propósito fue la de observar un portal estático, simple y con pocos servicios como el actual. Se plantearon desde un principio todas aquellas necesidades que deberían implementarse en Un verdadero portal Web para la facultad de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la UNAB y, cuál debería ser su función en beneficio de todos los usuarios. Este proyecto pretende continuar la tesis entregada el primer semestre de 2007 titulada “Definición de la presencia en Internet de la Facultad de Ingeniería de Sistemas UNAB”, y en conjunto con alumnos y docentes de la facultad pretende construir un portal Web de calidad que los integre dinámicamente y haga de la escuela un lugar virtual punto de referencia a próximos desarrollos e iniciativas Web para la comunidad. Finalmente la consulta e interacción con la mejor información y el mejor material técnico disponible, hará del portal una herramienta de ayuda para todos los usuarios finales que visiten el nuevo sitio Web de la facultad. |

The main idea that emerged to carry out this purpose was to observe a static, simple portal with few services like the current one. All the needs that should be implemented in A true Web portal for the Faculty of Systems Engineering of the UNAB and, what should be its function for the benefit of all users. This project aims to continue the thesis delivered in the first semester of 2007 entitled "Definition of the presence on the Internet of the Faculty of Systems Engineering UNAB", and together with students and teachers of the faculty aims to build a quality Web portal that integrates them dynamically and make the school a virtual point of reference for upcoming developments and Web initiatives for the community.
