Siendo así, el presente estudio pretende identificar el efecto del propranolol sobre el desempeño de una tarea de memoria contextual implícita, mediante un diseño experimental doble-ciego controlado con placebo, y haciendo uso del Contextual Cueing Task como instrumento de evaluación. Se espera que los participantes presenten un desempeño disminuido en la prueba de memoria contextual implícita bajo los efectos del propranolol, en comparación con el desempeño bajo la administración de placebo

The hippocampus has beta-adrenergic receptors, and propranolol is a drug that acts as a blocker of these receptors. Thus, the present study aims to identify the effect of propranolol on the performance of an implicit contextual memory task, through a double-blind placebo-controlled experimental design, and using the Contextual Cueing Task as an evaluation instrument.
