Variables del estudio 53EspecializaciónThe prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) has been increasing worldwide, so the population on maintenance hemodialysis is also expanding. AVFs are the “gold standard” vascular access for chronic hemodialysis treatment due to the lower risks of complications associated with long-term use compared to arteriovenous grafts. The functional status of the arteriovenous fistula directly affects the efficiency of dialysis and the quality of life of uremic patients. Up to 50% of fistulas lose patency during the course of treatment, and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) has now been recommended as a first-line treatment for vascular access stenosis and occlusion because it is safe, effective, and minimally invasive compared to surgical revision Accordingly, we determined postintervention patency rates and factors contributing to fistula failure after intervention to establish secondary patency in patients with advanced chronic kidney disease who presented with symptoms of fistula dysfunction.Modalidad Presencialapplication/pdfspahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.5/co/Abierto (Texto Completo)Atribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 2.5 Colombiahttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Asociación entre el tiempo de uso de fistula arteriovenosa en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica y la tasa de éxito en el manejo endovascularAssociation between the time of arteriovenous fistula use in patients with chronic kidney disease and the success rate of endovascular managementEspecialistas en Radiología e Imágenes DiagnósticasUniversidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga UNABFacultad Ciencias de la SaludEspecialización en Radiología e Imágenes Diagnósticasinfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisTesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionhttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/TMMedical sciencesHealth sciencesRadiologyDiagnostic imagingArteriovenous fistulaChronic kidney diseasePercutaneous transluminal angioplastyEndovascular treatmentRenal diseasesBlood vesselsArteriovenous anastomosisCiencias médicasRadiologíaDiagnóstico para imágenesEnfermedades renalesVasos sanguíneosAnastomosis arteriovenosaCiencias de la saludFistula arteriovenosaEnfermedad renal crónicaAngioplastia transluminal percutaneaTratamiento endovascular1.
