description El objetivo de la investigación en curso es desarrollar un prototipo web de un sistema de trazabilidad de medicamentos implementando monitoreo electrónico por código de barras, para lograr obtener la trazabilidad de los fármacos e identificar el personal encargado de su traslado. La metodología consta de inventario de los medicamentos disponibles en bodega, búsqueda en el inventario digital, trazabilidad de fármacos, alertas sobre la fecha de caducidad y descripciones de almacenamiento de los productos, además de un control restringido sobre estos. Finalmente, teniendo en cuenta las necesidades antes mencionadas, se logró la creación de un inventario digital y las acciones de registro de medicamentos, así como inscripción de nuevos usuarios, creación de la orden de pedido del medicamento y el registro del equipo donde se van a transportar. Como mejoras a futuro se busca implementar un sistema de alerta sobre las condiciones de los medicamentos como la poca cantidad de unidades en existencia, cercanía en la fecha de caducidad, se busca también implementar el historial de los pedidos finalizados y realizar algunas mejoras en la presentación de la página web para que sea más sencilla de manejar para el usuario.

The methodology consists of an inventory of the drugs available in the warehouse, a search in the digital inventory, drug traceability, alerts on the expiration date and storage descriptions of the products, as well as a restricted control over them. Finally, taking into account the aforementioned needs, the creation of a digital inventory and the registration of medicines was achieved, as well as the registration of new users, the creation of the order form for the medicine and the registration of the equipment where they are going to be transported.
