UNA EXPERIENCIA DEL TRABAJO COLABORATIVO EN EL LABORATORIO

RESUMEN El trabajo colaborativo en el aula, es una metodología de aprendizaje que desplaza el centro de atención del profesor al alumno, que permite explorar en el estudiante sus capacidades, sentido de responsabilidad, facilidad de integración y de trabajo con sus compañeros y la seguridad en sus actuaciones. Con este tipo de aprendizaje se pretende motivar al estudiante, implicarlo en su proceso de aprendizaje, generar interrelaciones positivas entre alumnos de diferente procedencia que inicialmente no se conocen, darle responsabilidades, fomentar la capacidad de autoanálisis y de mejoramiento continuo para la toma de decisiones, señalando la importancia de ir al laboratorio con una actitud de investigación y no de simple cumplimiento de una norma o tarea.Con el presente trabajo de investigación se pretende evaluar los resultados de la metodología del trabajo colaborativo en el Laboratorio de Lodos y Cementos de la Escuela de Ingeniería de Petróleos de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, que se ha implementado en los últimos seis (6) años académicos. A partir de una encuesta aplicada a los estudiantes de este laboratorio se logró la información para el análisis y evaluación de la metodología, cuyos resultados se presentan en forma gráfica y se espera que esta experiencia contribuya al mejoramiento del quehacer de este laboratorio y pueda hacerse extensivo a otros campos de la enseñanza. Palabras clave: Aprendizaje colaborativo, trabajo en equipo, mejoramiento continuo. ABSTRACT Collaborative work in the classroom is a methodology of learning that shifts the emphasis from teacher to pupil, which allows the student to explore their abilities, sense of responsibility, integration and ease of working with their peers and security in their proceedings. With this type of learning is intended to motivate the student, involved in their learning process, generate positive interactions between students of different origins who initially do not know, give him responsibilities, building capacity for self-improvement and for making decisions and raise awareness of the importance of going to the laboratory with an attitude of inquiry rather than conducting simple recipes.With this research work is to assess the results of the methodology of the cooperative work at the Laboratory of mud and cement the School of Petroleum Engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, which has been implemented in the last six (6) academic years. Based on a survey applied to students of the laboratory was the information for analysis and evaluation of the methodology and the results are presented in graphical form and it is hoped that this experience will contribute to improving the work of the laboratory and can be extended to other areas of education. Key Words: Collaborative Learning, teamwork, continuous improvement.
