The analysis is performed using the information contained in the HIV genetic sequence and comparing it to reference sequences. Descriptions of the algorithms for alignment, mutation identifcation and resistance analysis applied to the genetic sequence of the virus are presented.Este artículo presenta el desarrollo e  implementación de un  sistema que  sirva como herramienta para el estudio y exploración del VIH a partir del análisis computacional de sus mutaciones,  teniendo en cuenta  la  información genética del mismo.
