The search for new materials that can be used as pigments and are friendly to the environment has led to the study of a new family YIn1-xMxO3 in which the site occupied by the cation In3+ is replaced with various transition metals such as Mn3+
Fe3+ and Cu2+/Zr4+
giving as a result powder blue
yellow and green color respectively. The materials were prepared by the sol-gel method and citrate-nitrate
characterized by the technique of X-ray diffraction
the analysis showed the XRD patterns forming the desired hexagonal phase with the space group P63cm. The optical properties were studied by diffuse reflectance technique and from the spectra obtained the parameters L*a*b* were calculated from the space color CIELAB using the Optprop application from Matlab software. The stability study of materials was performed by exposing the powder samples to different means of common use which could expose the materials according to the future implementation
is also a water-based paint was prepared using the pigment manufactured
which he also performed a stability study using the same means as the powder samples. And finally they were again carried out to the XRD measurements and the diffuse reflectance to establish changes presented during each experiment
